Our Consumer Products & Retail Business Unit are looking for an experienced Director – QSR(Quick Service Restaurant)/ Foodservice to join the team. We are Europe’s leading consultancy for QSR and Food and Beverage and have ambitions to build out our presence globally. Our focus is on advisory work focused on fast food, coffee, and food-on-the-go brands. Location: New York / Chicago / North America What you will be doing Lead Market Entry Strategies : Spearhead the development and execution of QSR market entry plans for US service brands, focusing on fast food, coffee, and food-on-the-go sectors. You will conduct in-depth market analysis, assess competitive positioning, and tailor brand strategies to resonate with US consumer preferences and client objectives. Drive Business Development and Client Partnerships: Utilize your QSR consulting expertise and industry network to identify, pursue, and secure new client opportunities. You will advise clients on partnership models, negotiate commercial terms, and build enduring relationships that underpin sustainable growth in the US market. Deliver Client Solutions and Value: Work closely with QSR clients to understand their strategic goals, diagnose challenges, and co-create actionable solutions that drive measurable business outcomes. Ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards for quality and client impact . Monitor Performance and Market Trends: Oversee the implementation of market entry initiatives, track key performance indicators, and proactively identify emerging trends, regulatory changes, and shifts in consumer behavior. Use these insights to refine strategies and ensure clients maintain a competitive edge. Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with colleagues and stakeholders to share insights, leverage best practices, and deliver integrated solutions that maximize value for clients. Your skills and experience Extensive US Service Sector Experience: Demonstrable track record working with major US fast food, coffee, or food-on-the-go brands within the QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) industry Strategic Market Expansion: Proven ability to design and execute successful market entry or growth strategies in the US, including identifying new business opportunities, building go-to-market plans, and overcoming market-specific challenges. Industry Network: Deep, active network of contacts within the US service business sector, particularly in QSR, including relationships with key decision-makers at leading brands and potential partners. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Strong commercial acumen with a history of winning, developing, and retaining major accounts. Skilled at negotiating and closing high-value deals. Leadership & Team Building: Experience leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams, with the ability to inspire and align diverse groups around a common vision. Stakeholder Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders, aligning objectives and driving projects to successful outcomes. Consulting/Advisory Experience (Desirable): Previous experience in a consulting or advisory role is advantageous, particularly if it involved transformation or growth projects for service sector clients. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical mindset, able to assess market data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights to inform business decisions. Cultural Awareness: Understanding of the nuances of US business culture and the ability to adapt approaches to suit different client environments.
