Sevan is an INC. 5000 Fastest-Growing Company | Great Places to Work 2023 | Best Places to work in Chicago 20, 21, 22, 23, | Best Places to Work in Construction 2023 The Construction Project Manager works as part of Sevan's program management team managing programs for our Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) client consisting of multiple project types, generally limited in size, scope, duration, etc.. The Project Manager acts as an extension of an owners design, construction and maintenance staff overseeing the work of general contractors, designers and vendors on behalf of the client teams. The Project Managers responsibilities include full multi-site program delivery of ground up and remodel projects consisting of pre-construction services (bid, permit, schedule), construction oversight (construction, change orders, invoicing, punchlists), and project closeout. This is a remote based position with recurring travel on-site to project locations across Kansas, Oklahoma, and western Arkansas. Travel required (40-60%) on an as needed basis up to and including weekly site visits. Multi-shift work may be required to accomplish work in active retail locations to meet aggressive schedules.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in an accredited construction related program or equivalent; or 5-10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated skills in commercial multi-site program management.
• Resides locally in SE Kansas or Tulsa, OK area
• Ability to travel on an as needed basis (40-60%) regionally across Kansas, Oklahoma, and western Arkansas
• 5+ years experience building and/or managing programs for restaurant, fast food, quick serve commercial projects.
• Proficient with construction technologies such as Procore, Smartsheet, Builder Trend, and others.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in multi-site, roll out projects, highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates the activities of field and vendor project team to ensure construction project progresses on schedule and within budget.
• Examines construction documentation including drawings, schedules, and scopes to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Reviews bid results, specifications, test and progress reports, and other project information necessary to gain complete familiarity with the project.
• Confirms and verifies permitting requirements related to the project or program.
• Directly manages and monitors project work in the field.
• Diligently manages change orders to projects.
• Prepares and provides weekly status reports for projects.
• Proactively communicates project related issues directly with internal Senior Project Manager, Project Executive, or Operations Director.
• Follows established standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
• Proactively identifies and solves or elevates project issues related to cost, schedule, safety, or qualify.
• Represents Sevan and may lead in client update meetings.
• Develops and maintains relationships with clients, potential clients, subcontractors and vendors to help develop new opportunities.
• Other duties as assigned.
