About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. What You'll Be Doing - Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, haul trucks, and excavators safely and efficiently - Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment and work areas - Monitor material flow and assist with crushing and screening operations - Follow all safety protocols and report hazards or incidents promptly - Support team operations with general labor and site upkeep as needed
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to operate or learn to operate quarry equipment safely
- Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and communication
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding, outdoor environment
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing priorities
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
