About The Position

As part of our dedicated team, the Quarry Operator performs assigned tasks while maintaining situational awareness and a level of proficiency that minimizes the risk of personal injury or property damage.

Requirements

• Must be able to frequently lift 50 pounds or more
• Must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions such as heat, cold, snow, rain, etc.
• Ability to read and write to record daily logs and maintain daily equipment checklists
• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the landscape, hardscape, forestry, nursery, or irrigation industry is a plus

Responsibilities

• Operate splitter with assistant to maneuver pieces of raw material in position to break apart with splitter
• Palletize finished product
• Tie off and properly tag finished pallets
• Maintain a safe and orderly workplace per MSHA regulations
• Band pallets of finished product using banding device
