About The Position

Quality Technician performs quality techniques to track, analyze, and report on material, processes, gages, and products to ensure they meet the company’s quality standards

Requirements

At least 18 years of age (Required at all locations)
High school diploma or GED (Required at all locations)
Quality process experience
Knowledge of mechanical technology and computer software technology
Competency in shop math, blueprint reading, and use of measuring devices, gauges, and programs

Nice To Haves

Previous Manufacturing experience
Experience with GD&T methods and theory
Grasp of 3D special concepts and reasoning
Experience in CMM High Accuracy Measuring applications and software preferred

Responsibilities

Program CMM to measure parts and components to meet design specifications, using software programs.
Perform routine maintenance and calibration checks on CMM equipment as required.
Ensure CMM is working at optimal capacity for accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborate with engineering, quality control, and production teams, and assist with finding solutions to quality issues.
Perform part or tool measurements using manual gauges such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, etc.
Complete inspection documentation and report discrepancies to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations and quality standards.
Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Other duties as assigned.
