About The Position

JOB SUMMARY: The Quality Technician position is accountable for leading and managing effective day-to-day quality by inspecting all incoming and outgoing products for defects to ensure quality products.

Requirements

• Must have strong color vision with the ability to accurately distinguish subtle variations in color.
• Ability to read a tape measure and use it effectively.
• Ability to read the move ticket and understand ALL of its contents.
• Must have a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work with little direct supervision.
• Must have good team work/communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspection of incoming and/or outgoing products for defects.
• Inspect product for accuracy, consistency, and finish quality, as needed.
• Communicate defects to necessary personnel.
• Repair cabinetry component defects when applicable.
• Communicate with various departments and personnel.
• Complete any necessary documentation and paperwork.
• Maintain production and quality standards.
• Follow all safety rules and work instructions.
• Perform all duties in a safe manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
• May rotate to other departments and duties as needed.
• Communicate with employees on a regular basis.
