Quality Technician - 2nd Shift
About The Position
JOB SUMMARY: The Quality Technician position is accountable for leading and managing effective day-to-day quality by inspecting all incoming and outgoing products for defects to ensure quality products. PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Inspection of incoming and/or outgoing products for defects. Inspect product for accuracy, consistency, and finish quality, as needed. Communicate defects to necessary personnel. Repair cabinetry component defects when applicable. Communicate with various departments and personnel. Complete any necessary documentation and paperwork. Maintain production and quality standards. Follow all safety rules and work instructions. Perform all duties in a safe manner. Performs other duties as assigned by management. May rotate to other departments and duties as needed. Communicate with employees on a regular basis.
Requirements
- Must have strong color vision with the ability to accurately distinguish subtle variations in color.
- Ability to read a tape measure and use it effectively.
- Ability to read the move ticket and understand ALL of its contents.
- Must have a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work with little direct supervision.
- Must have good team work/communication skills.
