Position Summary: The Quality Technician will evaluate and report on the quality of products. They participate in the entire course of manufacturing wherever quality support is required. It’s up to this position to review work instructions, interpret the company quality standards, engineering diagrams, and specifications for the products, then execute appropriate quality inspections according to those inputs. If there is an issue, they must compile data and report to engineers and other stakeholders. Make recommendations that bring about positive change in quality processes. This position will also support the functions of the Quality Assurance Department to meet the requirements of the relevant ISO 9001:2015 standards based on the quality objectives established by Top Management. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Collaborates with corporate internal and external customers. Assists with internal and external quality audits. Maintains calibration of quality control equipment. Prepare and evaluate inspection data noting relevant deviations from standards. Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods. Ability to use and teach others how to use measurement devices. Comprehensive knowledge of Quality Control Tools. Write quality documents such as Inspection sheets, Deviations and Waivers, CAPAs, NCMRs, RMAs etc. Updates job knowledge with training opportunities and reading technical publications. Be a self-motivated team member working to achieve corporate goals.
