Responsibilities Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of in-process materials, raw materials, initial samples, environmental samples, finished goods, or stability samples by use of 3D-measuring machines, tensile and compressive forces measuring machine, color test of glasses, device functional testing, etc. Interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, and make recommendations on appropriateness of data for release. Calibrate, validate, or maintain laboratory equipment. Ensure that lab cleanliness and safety standards are maintained. Perform in-process inspections Perform visual inspections of finished products Perform long-term-tests and in-depth-audit of finished products (product audit) Perform incoming inspections, raw material inspections Inspect/handle nonconforming materials for production scrap and supplier reclamations Complete documentation needed to support testing procedures, including data capture forms, equipment logbooks, or inventory forms. Compile laboratory test data and perform appropriate analyses. Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems. Write technical reports or documentation, such as deviation reports, testing protocols, and trend analyses. Investigate and/or report questionable test results. Works diligently with production to ensure that quality requirements will be met Support similar functions in contract manufacturing as needed
