About The Position

As a Quality Technician at Caterpillar Inc. you will perform quality control and/or technical support for all functional departments. What You Will Do (including but not limited to): Perform quality control on receiving, shipping, storage, processing, renovation, inspection equipment maintenance, communication, packaging and returns. Ensure customer standards are maintained. Lead inspection staff and assist in training incoming quality personnel. Use specialized equipment including: hoists, saws, grinders, material handling vehicles, and chemical solutions.

Requirements

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and/or electronic schematics diagrams.
Working knowledge of CMM software.
Working knowledge of inspection tools including, micrometers and various gages.
Strong customer focus.
Legacy software experience.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in quality control or manufacturing.
Previous Leadership experience.
Degree or taking classes towards degree.
Geomagic software skills.
Geomagic Design X knowledge.
Lidar scanning application.
Microsoft office and computer skills.
