The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for quality monitoring, inspecting of inserts/outserts, and accuracy of paperwork, product and release of final produc Performs Quality Control Checks: Check finished counts for ct. labels, stamp number, tray numbers, sample, taped ends, and on skid correctly. Conducts label verification by checking used tray and/or ct. labels to completed trays and/or cartons and unused labels. Reads spec sheet to insure packaging and labels are correct. Check insert quality, squareness, glue, and any variance in pieces. Verifies counts are accurate and documents any problems during the Quality Assurance Check. Performs Q.C. for Fold Approval: Check overall quality of the pieces. Measure pieces insure measurements match those on the job ticket and Customer Specification Sheet. Verify fold panel is on the outside and fold configuration is the same as approved fold sample. Confirms the correct number of glue heads are being used and the correct glue is being used as specified by the job ticket. Reviews customer spec sheet for packaging instructions and any other special instructions. Performs Tray and/or Carton Label Approvals Performs final inspection of product before releasing for final shipment Ensure time-sensitive materials are completed and delivered on time Ensure that customer orders are completed correctly at a high level of quality and according to customer expectations Maintaining all logs and reporting documentation Performs other job duties as assigned t.
