About The Position

R&L Spring is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to support production through inspection, testing, and quality documentation. This role is ideal for someone with manufacturing quality experience who enjoys hands-on inspection and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and GD&T
  • Experience with inspection tools and measurement equipment

Nice To Haves

  • Prior manufacturing quality/inspection experience preferred
  • Knowledge of SPC, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Root Cause Analysis preferred
  • Familiarity with IATF 16949 / AIAG Core Tools preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections
  • Conduct component layouts and maintain inspection documentation
  • Utilize SPC charting and sampling plans
  • Set up and operate inspection/testing equipment
  • Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions
  • Support internal audits and PPAP documentation
  • Create and maintain PFMEAs, Control Plans, and inspection reports
  • Ensure compliance with non-conforming material procedures
  • Review finished product to verify conformance to specifications
