Requirements

  • Technical degree and 3+ years of relevant experience in a regulated industry
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Completion of all required job‑specific training
  • Understanding of FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR) and ISO 13485:2003
  • ASQ certification (CMI, CCT, or CQT) required within 1 year of hire

Nice To Haves

  • Medical device experience strongly preferred
  • Laser inspection experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Calibration Support
  • Support systems that monitor measurement and test equipment accuracy
  • Assist with calibration of company-owned and personal tools
  • Repair gages as applicable or coordinate with external repair services
  • Request replacements when needed
  • Manufacturing Support
  • Troubleshoot and program SmartScopes/CMM and Vici equipment
  • Inspect vendor work using SmartScope V.M.M.
  • Perform in‑process inspections
  • Inspect vendor-supplied components and assist suppliers with inspection techniques
  • Conduct laser inspections, including first-piece laser certification
  • Utilize all facility gaging methods including roundness checker, profilometer, and height stands
  • Develop expertise in GD&T and blueprint/dimensioning methods
  • Train associates on laser inspection and support certification
  • Final Product Release
  • Document discrepancies as required
  • Ensure non-conforming material/parts are quarantined to prevent shipment
  • Internal Auditing
  • Participate in internal audit activities and support compliance
