About The Position

As a Quality Technician I, you will be a key contributor in ensuring product excellence, reliability, and compliance within our manufacturing operations. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills who can perform inspections, audits, and calibration with accuracy and consistency. You will support both Assembly and the Machine Shop by identifying non-conformances, maintaining quality systems, and driving data-based improvements. 1st Shift Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with possible deviations based on business needs.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing (Quality): Required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel – ability to enter and manipulate data in spreadsheets): Required
  • Experience with email communication (open/create/send): Required
  • Valid driver’s license maintained throughout employment that meets Busch insurance standards
  • Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and professional maturity
  • Dependable, trustworthy, and results-focused
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data in decision-making
  • Effective oral and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team
  • Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Safety-focused, maintaining clean and orderly workspaces and adhering to all workplace safety standards
  • Ability and willingness to pass a 10-panel drug screen, 7-year criminal history check
  • Must be willing and able to utilize all required PPE
  • Ability and willingness to travel (up to 10%) domestically and overnights
  • Employment with Busch Vacuum Solutions requires current work authorization in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

  • Awareness of calibration procedures: Preferred
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system software experience: Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform final inspection of pumps, document the findings in SAP, and report to the Quality Manager.
  • Provide support to Assembly and Machine Shop when the Andon light is activated.
  • Provide Assembly support during downtime by segregating and sorting non-conforming products.
  • Prepare purchase requisition for approval by the Quality Manager.
  • Involvement in the MRB Process.
  • Defines and perform Incoming Materials inspection as required.
  • Defines and perform inspection on materials as required.
  • Inputs quality data into spreadsheets and programs.
  • Participates in group problem solving activities.
  • Performs Internal calibration of gauges, communicate with calibration company, send out gauges and in full control of gauge management.
  • Conducts in-process audits, internal and external, as required.
  • Processes non-conforming material, including disposition.
  • Maintains general housekeeping standards.
  • Reports online Performance and update chart/graph displays.
