Visit us at packaging.toppan.com Summary Description: While reporting to the Plant Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality expectations of every customer, both internal and external, are met or exceeded. You must have the ability to work with various teams and have a good eye to spot defects. You will take pride in your personal hands-on and analytical abilities, organizational skills and attention to detail. Location: Chillicothe, MO Position: Quality Technician I Hours: Night Shift | 7:00 pm – 7:00 am ($2.00 shift differential) Rate: $21.74

Requirements

  • You can use Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook
  • You can read, write, and have good verbal communication skills
  • You have the ability to work independently with high attention to detail
  • You understand manufacturing and quality control processes
  • You can perform repetitious duties and stand for long periods of time
  • You can lift up to 50 lbs.
  • You can sit, reach, and bend
  • You can push/pull and handle product
  • You must be able to work in conditions that may include heat, humidity, and production noise

Responsibilities

  • Assist in analyzing data, customer feedback, in-house rejections, and process capability data
  • Conduct required off-line testing for products to confirm they meet customer specifications
  • Ensure customer returns are checked in, and feedback is completed on-time
  • Able to work as a team and across departments throughout the plant
  • Maintain lab data filing system and physical retention storage
  • Active involvement in quality activities
  • Other duties as assigned
