Requirements

  • Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a quality control or assurance role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
  • Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Experience with various inspection tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-process and final inspections of products, components, and assemblies according to established procedures and quality standards.
  • Conduct various tests using appropriate measuring equipment and tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM, optical comparators).
  • Document inspection results accurately and thoroughly, including identification of non-conformances.
  • Initiate and participate in root cause analysis for identified quality issues and support corrective/preventive actions.
  • Assist in the calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and other departments to resolve quality-related problems.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Provide training and guidance to junior technicians or production personnel on quality procedures.
  • Review and verify Certificates of Conformance (CoCs) and other supplier documentation.
  • Participate in internal and external audits as required.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
