Role Definition Seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Technician to support ongoing switchgear assembly operations and new project launch. This role is critical to ensuring product quality, process compliance, and successful new project ramp-up.

Requirements

  • Experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in electrical or mechanical assembly.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to follow standard work.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to perform repetitive operations.
  • Ability to lift to 35 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with switchgear or electrical equipment assembly.
  • Exposure to new product introduction (NPI) or project launch environments.
  • Proficiency in using measurement tools (calipers, multimeters, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-process and final inspections of custom switchgear and standard control assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Support quality activities related to the launch of new projects, including first of kind inspections, process validations, and documentation reviews.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, non-conformances, and corrective actions by cataloging into a computer system.
  • Support internal standard work audits and ISO9001 compliance efforts.
  • Support process partners with wiring and training as needed.
