About The Position

Eaton’s IS VEH EMB division is currently seeking a Quality Tech. The hourly rate for this position is $21-25 per hour plus $1.50 shift differential. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Core hours for this role are 3:30pm to 2:00am. Eaton announced, on January 26, 2026, the intent to separate its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) into an independent, publicly traded company. We expect to complete the separation by the end of the first quarter of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the spinoff closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time. Position Overview: The Quality Technician will be primarily responsible for validation and production inspections of all products produced from manufacturing and assembly processes, proper use and maintenance of measurement tools and equipment

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution required
  • Minimum of 1-year experience (QC) and manufacturing environment preferred
  • Ability to read & interpret Blueprints
  • Basic Knowledge of GD&T
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including presentation skills.
  • Intermediate skill in Office Suite
  • employee to actively moving within the Quality and production department
  • The employee is occasionally required to lift to 40 pounds.
  • Noise level in plant is moderate. Hearing protection is required in posted areas.
  • Safety Glasses required in the manufacturing area’s
  • Ability to comply with all safety protocols

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred Knowledge of Micro-vu’ OGP and Keyence Vision inspection equipment

Responsibilities

  • Performs incoming receiving inspection
  • Measure parts to ensure that they are within specifications using Calipers, Micrometers, Comparators
  • Perform random quality audits
  • Notify Product Manager and others of quality issues
  • Maintains QC hold room, monitors status with the intent of timely disposition with other QC personal
  • Ensure that other employees are aware of proper quality inspection activities
  • Adhere to all company guidelines
  • Any additional responsibility deemed necessary by management.
