Job Opportunity: Quality Tech Bag Line – Days Hours: 7:00 am – 3:15 pm Pay Rate – $17.00 - $19.00 starting with opportunities for wage increases based on meeting additional criteria. Requirements
- Must be able to lift over 35 - 50 pounds frequently.
- Must be able to work regularly scheduled and unscheduled overtime.
- Forklift certification and experience required.
Responsibilities
- Informs Retail Manager, Retail Supervisor, Line Workers and appropriate quality assurance staff of known or anticipated problems and recommends corrective action.
- Ensures clear and timely communication to maximize quality, productivity and minimize down time.
- Calibrate and validate scales, checkweighers and X-ray equipment according to standard operating procedures.
- Prevent complaints/claims and keep quality to specifications through accurate inspections, non-compliance procedures, appropriate reporting, corrective actions and accuracy of paperwork
- Work with management to guarantee continuous food safety and quality improvement within the retail bag line.
- Maintains cleanliness of equipment and surrounding areas.
- Informs lab technician and shift supervisor of known or anticipated problems and recommends corrective action.
- Performs other duties relating to the overall effort as directed.
