About The Position

Provide support to the quality team by performing quality inspections, conducting and recording audits, assisting in standard work projects, setting up and completing first articles.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent
Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards and systems
Familiar with manufacturing systems and processes
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to learn and become proficient in all required software applications (ERP, customer portals, IQS, & etc.)
Root Cause and Corrective Action techniques

Nice To Haves

Ability to understand and diagram process steps
Strong self-initiative and the ability to work with a team to achieve results
Manufacturing experience

Responsibilities

Supports the execution of the Web quality strategy and works towards departments goals
Performs DSQR and DQR inspections
Sets up and completes first articles with a primary focus on inspections
Creates certificates of conformance
Date entry of quality data to complete metrics and audit trail
Performs in-process audits over multiple shifts
Assists in creation and updating standard work projects by gathering information, drafting work instructions, creating process flows, value stream maps and control plans
Suggest methods for continuous improvements
Develops strong working relationships with internal and external cross-functional teams to assist with standard work projects.
Assist with preparation of information and content for SLT meetings
Performs other function or responsibility as assigned
