Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) 777/777x Quality team is seeking dedicated Quality Specialists to join our dynamic team onsite in Everett, WA. As a quality specialist, you will play a crucial role in responding to, validating, and supporting speak-up cases, while also aligning with our program safety management. Our teams are currently hiring for experience levels 2 and 3 including Associate and Experienced Quality Specialist.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with the Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • 3+ years of experience in developing presentations for leadership
  • 1+ years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action
  • 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

  • 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1+ years of experience in project management
  • 1+ years of experience implementing lean principles
  • Experience developing and supporting project plans through the full project lifecycle
  • Experience in applying LEAN manufacturing techniques for process improvement
  • Experience in manufacturing or factory support environment
  • Experience in program management

Responsibilities

  • Will participate fully on the 777 Speak-up, Quality Stand down resolution & Safety Management support team
  • Reviews, investigates, and manages Aerospace Safety Reports and Records, and regulatory, program and customer requirements
  • Monitors and facilitates quality assurance planning related to production products, processes and services
  • Maintains Quality and manufacturing directives, policies, processes, procedures and metrics to assure program, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are deployed using established procedures
  • Collects and verifies data to support the identification of root cause routine problems
  • Provides ideas and concepts for corrective action development
  • Assists with 777 program level audits when needed to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, related business regulatory and customer requirements
  • Documents investigation results in standard formats, and collaborates with all levels of program leadership
  • Works under general supervision
