Position Summary: The Quality Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the company's products and services meet the established quality standards. They oversee the quality assurance processes and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in quality control, ideally in manufacturing.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with Q/Q and statistical software is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma and/or Lean methodologies preferred.
  • Proficient in QC measurement tools (height gauges, calipers, etc.).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and regulations.
  • Strong writing skills for reports and manuals.
  • Capable of effectively presenting information and addressing questions.
  • Competence in mathematical concepts, including statistics and geometry.
  • Understanding of in-house ERP and CAD systems for basic tasks.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality policies and standards.
  • Monitor product and service quality; identify improvement areas.
  • Prepare quality reports for management.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering to resolve quality issues.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors and customers.
  • Train and supervise quality assurance staff.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct daily inspections of incoming materials and first articles.
  • Maintain quality files and inspect production parts, reporting errors.
  • Manage Non-Conformance reports and QC hold areas.
  • Participate in inventory processes, including cycle counting.
  • Assist in product development and improvements.
  • Engage in continuous learning through training.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by Project Engineer or Operations Management.
  • Communicate effectively with managers, clients, and the public.
