What You'll Do

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a quality role within food manufacturing (supervisory experience preferred)
  • Solid understanding of HACCP, GMPs, SQF, or equivalent food safety standards
  • A sharp eye for detail — you catch what others miss
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to lead with confidence and approachability
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, single-line production environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic quality management tools
  • A continuous improvement mindset — you don't just identify problems, you fix them

Responsibilities

  • Lead and champion all quality assurance and food safety programs on the production floor
  • Oversee in-process and finished product inspections and testing to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Maintain and continuously improve HACCP, GMP, SQF, and food safety management systems
  • Investigate and resolve quality deviations, nonconformances, and customer complaints with a root-cause mindset
  • Collaborate with production leadership to build a strong, floor-level quality culture
  • Manage documentation, record-keeping, and audit readiness
  • Train, mentor, and develop quality team members
  • Partner with suppliers and internal stakeholders on ingredient and packaging quality standards
  • Support internal, customer, and third-party audits with confidence
