About The Position

It provides quality leadership for supplier, process, and customer quality, ensuring compliance with standards and driving initiatives that improve product and operational performance. In this role you will: Supervise and manage QA Technicians, ensuring accurate testing, inspection, and data collection for single-phase transformers. Support production and lead cross-functional teams in problem-solving, process improvements, and scrap or customer issue resolution. Drive quality system compliance and continuous improvement through ISO 9001, EQMS, APQP, and updates to process control documents. Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and marketing to ensure quality standards for new parts, supplier PPAP submissions, and customer requirements. Handle customer complaints and corrective actions while using statistical analysis and process capability to improve product and process performance.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Industrial, and Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
Three (3) years of experience in manufacturing processes, working in a quality or transformer's manufacturing role.
Strong problem-solving skills using methodologies such as PDCA, DMAIC, 8D, and tools like 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto, and control charts.
Experience leading cross-functional projects and presenting recommendations effectively in both oral and written form.
Ability to write technical documents, including procedures and specifications

Nice To Haves

ISO 9001 or TS16949 experience preferred.
Knowledge of lean principles and tools (Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Continuous Flow, Pull Systems, Standardized Work).
Six Sigma Black or Green Belt certification; CQE and CQA certifications or equivalent.
Proficiency in data analysis using MS Excel, Access, Minitab, or similar tools; SAP experience preferred.
