For more information on Aramark's Student Nutrition food service programs, please visit   Aramark Student Nutrition.   Quality and Standards Senior Manager leads operational excellence and compliance across Student Nutrition Foodservice programs, ensuring alignment with Federal nutrition requirements and Aramark policies. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategic processes, training programs, and performance monitoring systems that drive continuous improvement and service quality that aligns with both Aramark and client objectives.   COMPENSATION: The  salary range for this position is $80,000 to $95,000. Requirements

  • Must have current or previous Aramark operations experience to be considered for this role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in food management.
  • Knowledge of safety, food, and labor management processes.
  • Proficiency in systems supporting safety and food management.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service using Aramark's standard service model
  • Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with other departments to a unified food service experience for all customers
  • Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lb.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures operational policies and procedures adhere to K-12 compliance standards, food safety regulations, and budgetary guidelines.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains standard operating procedures on all field-facing processes.
  • Recommends methods, resources, and implementation for service improvement and growth based on understanding of operational needs, capabilities, & contractual obligations.
  • Use operational expertise to pilot, incubate, and implement new and existing systems and technologies.
  • Plans trainings, programs including defining objectives, methods, timetables, and budget to support Aramark/CPS strategic plan.
  • Establishes operating standards, implements quality improvements, and communicates them to appropriate employees.
  • Supports school openings and closings, ensures FOH and BOH SOPs and operations expectations are communicated, including signage, forms, and compliance documentation.
  • Develops, implements, and executes internal training programs for Front Line Managers and Front-Line Associates (Client Labor). Establishes yearly training for FLMs and FLAs.
  • Oversee and monitors Food Safety & Sanitation training.
  • Establishes a safe work environment for employees by providing safety-related training covering equipment maintenance and by ensuring compliance with Aramark safety and loss prevention programs and standards.
  • Partner in the onboarding processes internal and external.
  • Keeps track of all FLMs and FLAs Food Safety certifications.
  • Develops and maintains field auditing platform.
  • Maintains content and usability of Field Ops Portal and MyNSS.
  • Assesses operational performance and develops plans to improve service or compliance.
  • Documents observations and recommendations with formal reporting methods for client and internal audiences.
  • Monitors and audits internal measures and systems to report compliance with expectations.
  • Provide constructive feedback to FLMs.
  • Support and lead administrative or client-led reviews of SBP, NSLP, CACFP, and SFSP programs for Aramark.
  • Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations as well as Aramark/client policies and procedures regarding quality assurance, safety, operations, menu compliance and personnel.
  • Conducts audits as directed or required to support the success of the program.
  • Administrate and maintain information within Aramark and client systems, makes suggestions for improvements in processes within those systems.
  • Monthly review of over meal claims and errors with the Client.
  • Develops and maintains positive client relationships in an effort to promote client satisfaction with Aramark as an account retention effort.
  • Follow the 90/10 rule and be active/visible during service hours.
  • Uses analysis tools to analyze and drive performance and grow meals to targets.
  • Support, facilitate, and coordinate core safety processes within the District or Region.
  • Build knowledge of S&RS, developed safety related tools, training materials and resources by:
  • Act as communications conduit between S&RC, RVP, and operations via:
  • Partner with RVP / DM and S&RS to ensure:
  • Support RVP and region operations by SAFE Focus Plan – Assist RVP and S&RS in monitoring progress of SAFE Support accounts.
  • SAFE Support Visits (SEV) – Participate in a minimum of one SEV annually.
  • Recognize regional safety successes. (Minimum 12 per quarter)
