Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing/machining environment.
  • Two-year College or university program certificate with 2 years of experience, or 4 year college or university degree.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Ability to learn ERP system, Spreadsheet and Word Processing Software, Adobe Acrobat Professional, MS Access, Photo editor software, Outlook, Microsoft Visio, PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee ISO documents and reporting
  • Conduct internal/external audits. Travel required.
  • Participate in registration/surveillance audits.
  • Ensure corrective actions are properly generated and effectively closed.
  • Ensure document and record controls are maintained
  • Conduct “Management Review” as part of ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management system preferred but not required.
  • Promotes a culture of quality through process and procedural improvement
  • Work collaboratively with General Manager – Quality to enhance and maintain quality system.
  • Participate in the identification and implementation of continuous process improvement activities.
  • Provide Quality training as directed by Plant Manager / General Manager – Quality.
