A Quality Specialist is responsible for performing a range of inspection functions to ensure the accuracy and quality of parts.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods
  • Ability to perform repetitive operations
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
  • Blueprint reading experience
  • Basic analytical skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and undergo cross-training
  • Effective communications skills
  • Hiring for 3rd shift. All training will be on 1st shift for up to 2 months before moving to hired shift.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed inspections of manufactured components
  • Follow established procedures and instructions to ensure the accuracy and quality of inspected items
  • Conduct testing and measurement tasks using a CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)
  • Use precision measuring instruments to check for deviation from specifications
  • Maintain records and documentation of inspection results
