About The Position

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Inspector I to join our 3rd shift team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet specified standards of quality and performance before reaching our customers. As a Quality Inspector I, you will play a critical role in maintaining the high standards of our products through careful inspection and documentation.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic knowledge of quality control principles and quality assurance.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
Proficient in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Responsibilities

Conduct inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards.
Use precision measuring instruments and testing equipment to examine materials and products.
Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, and inputting data into the quality database.
Assist in the identification and correction of potential quality issues through collaboration with production teams and management.
Maintain measuring tools and equipment to ensure accuracy.
Support continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback and suggestions to improve quality processes.
Follow established safety protocols and promote a culture of safety within the workplace.
