About The Position

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Quality Product Acceptance Specialist (Associate or Mid-Level) to join the Quality Team located in Kennedy Space Center, FL. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at listed location. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Requirements

  • High School / GED Diploma is required
  • Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications
  • Experience working or inspecting to non-conformance work orders
  • Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar (QMS) Quality Management System standard

Nice To Haves

  • Level C: 3 or more years of related work experience
  • Aerospace industry experience

Responsibilities

  • Level B: Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements. Provides objective evidence of results. Performs auditing, surveillance and monitoring. Identifies and documents discrepancies. Segregates and controls non-conforming items. Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance. Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification. Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action
  • Level C: Verifies product conformance to design requirements. Provides objective evidence of results. Validates work instructions, tooling requirements, certifications, process standards, policies and procedures. Identifies and documents discrepancies and segregates and controls non-conforming items. Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance. Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification. Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.

  • Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
  • Summary pay range for associate level (Level B): USD 46,750– 63,250
  • Summary pay range for mid-level (Level C): USD 53,550– 72,450
  • Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
