About The Position

Lockheed Martin’s (LM) Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) division is seeking a Quality Planner to join our expanding Camden Operations team in southwest Arkansas. With over 1000 dedicated employees, we produce essential equipment that is used by the brave men and women of the US military and our allies to defend freedom and protect nation security. As the Quality Planner you will configure and manage quality‑control features within our Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms. You will partner with production planners and engineers to verify that all requirements are met and that inspection processes are robust. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher and/or equivalent experience/combined education.

  • Knowledge of Quality systems; demonstrated use of standard problem solving, troubleshooting tools and root cause analysis skills.
  • Ability to perform floor support functions and make appropriate quality decisions.
  • Well versed in reading and interpreting drawings and standards.
  • Experienced in developing and maintaining governing procedures related to records control.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft office suite and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).

  • QA/Test and Inspection Experienced Professional
  • Experience with products used to managing work: routers, work orders, production planning/work instructions, etc.
  • Quality Management System exposure (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.)
  • Lean/Six Sigma techniques and Statistical Process Control concepts
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • APRISO Manufacturing Execution System
  • Windchill Product Lifecycle Management
  • MPMLink Manufacturing Process Management
  • SAP Enterprise Resource Planning in Production and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul environments)

Responsibilities

  • Review and approve production and inspection planning to achieve quality objectives.
  • Create and manage Master Inspection Characteristics (MICs) and assign them to appropriate work orders.
  • Manage inspection lots and ensure work instructions meet standards.
  • Implement change‑management controls and maintain inspection plans.
  • Write, review, approve, and release Receiving Inspection Instructions (RII).
