In this vital role, you’ll drive quality and patient safety initiatives by offering expert consulting, analysis, improvement facilitation, and program management to key internal stakeholders. You’ll develop and enhance programs that uphold our high standards in Quality and Patient Safety while focusing on delivering superior care to our patients. This position involves researching, collecting, and analyzing critical data to inform strategic decisions. As a subject matter expert, you’ll support your clients' quality and patient safety initiatives, ensuring they align with the hospital’s strategic goals. This position is based at the NYP/Allen site, with potential travel across various NYP sites as needed. Full-time, Monday to Friday.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in a healthcare, preferably in Quality and Performance Improvement

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Clinical Licensure (RN, PA, NP, MD, Nurse Midwife, RD, PT/OT, or PharmD)
  • PMP or Six-Sigma/Lean certification
  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Strong data analytics skills
