About The Position

The Quality Outcomes Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring individuals receive high-quality, person-centered supports that align with their goals, strengths, and values. This position leads the development of Person-Centered Service Plans (PCSPs), analyzes outcome data, and partners with staff to implement effective, evidence-based teaching strategies using Charting the Life Course domains. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys data-informed decision making, staff coaching, and improving quality of life outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a human services field and at least 1 year of experience supporting individuals with IDD OR A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience supporting individuals with IDD.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify solutions.
  • Experience using and training others in various teaching methodologies.
  • Comfortable facilitating both individual and group training.
  • Current CPR, First Aid, NVCI Systems, and Medication Aid certifications (or ability to obtain).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (Chauffeur’s license preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and update Person-Centered Service Plans (PCSPs) for assigned caseloads using data, team collaboration, and individual/guardian input.
  • Analyze documentation and outcome data to evaluate progress and recommend adjustments to goals and strategies.
  • Provide one-on-one and group staff training on teaching methods, task analysis, prompting, and prompt fading.
  • Conduct Interobserver Agreement (IOA) reviews and on-site staff observations.
  • Update task analyses, implementation strategies, and action steps based on individual progress.
  • Identify when new teaching approaches, goal modifications, or reinforcement strategies are needed.
  • Maintain required DSP skills and certifications.
  • Ensure compliance with ABiLITY policies, DMH regulations, and CARF standards.
