About The Position

The Clinical Outcomes and Quality Data Specialist is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting clinical data to improve patient outcomes and ensure compliance with national congenital cardiac benchmarking registries. Reporting to the Director of Quality & Outcomes, this role collaborates closely with clinical staff, quality and clinical, and administrative teams. The specialist maintains clinical databases, conducts audits, and provides actionable insights to enhance clinical effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • 2 years of relevant bedside nursing experience or experience in clinical data management.

Nice To Haves

  • 5 years of experience in bedside nursing and clinical data management

Responsibilities

  • Data Collection and Management Collects and organizes clinical data from various clinical data sources.
  • Maintains and updates clinical databases.
  • Ensures data accuracy and integrity.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting Prepares summary reports for stakeholders.
  • Quality Improvement Initiatives May provide insights into data used for implementation of quality improvement projects.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration Works closely with clinical staff and IT professionals.
