About The Position

The Role Entegris is currently seeking a Manager, Quality to join our Quality team. This position will be based in our Burnet, TX. facility. In this role, you will be a key player on the dynamic New Product Development (NPD) team to oversee multiple projects driving profitable growth in the company’s Advanced Deposition Materials group. Projects will vary depending on size and scope, requiring flexibility and tailored solutions. This role will include direct interaction with a broad range of global senior, technical and functional management, and subject matter experts throughout the organization. The position’s primary directive will be to support solids sublimation projects to produce specialty chemicals used by our customers to build high performance semiconductor products. What You’ll Do Own and continuously evolve the plant’s Quality Management System (QMS) to drive operational excellence and deliver a superior customer experience. Champion systemic improvements to accelerate response times for customer requests and resolve quality concerns through robust corrective and preventive actions leveraging 8D methodology, ensuring timely execution and effectiveness. Lead and govern the Management of Change (MOC) process, ensuring timely, risk-mitigated, and effective implementation of changes across operations. Drive the Out-of-Control Action Plan (OCAP) program, ensuring rapid containment, thorough root cause analysis, and sustainable corrective actions for process deviations and out-of-spec conditions. Ensure audit readiness and compliance by leading internal and external audits and driving timely closure of findings. Monitor and analyze key quality KPIs (e.g., yield, defect rates, customer returns) and lead cross-functional teams in data-driven problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain a robust document control system for SOPs, work instructions, and quality records to ensure compliance and accessibility. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to embed quality throughout the product lifecycle. Serve as the primary liaison for customer quality issues and regulatory compliance, ensuring transparency and trust. Support new product introductions and process changes through risk assessments, validation protocols, and proactive quality planning. Foster a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across the plant, aligning teams with organizational goals and customer expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • Proven leadership experience (5+ years) in quality systems management within semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environments.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across internal and external teams to elevate QMS performance and customer experience.
  • Expertise in core quality processes, including MOC, OCAPs, CAPAs, SCARs, and NCMRs.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of ISO standards, SEMI guidelines, and advanced quality tools (FMEA, SPC, 8D, DOE).
  • Track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering results in fast-paced, high-precision operations.
  • Exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational capabilities, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
  • Action-oriented leader, adept at prioritizing and executing initiatives in dynamic environments.
  • Proficiency in quality management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Medium to High volume manufacturing experience

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) – Demonstrates expertise in quality engineering principles and practices preferred
  • Lead Auditor (ISO 9001 or equivalent) – Proven capability to lead and manage compliance audits effectively preferred.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt – Advanced proficiency in process improvement and statistical analysis methodologies preferred.
