About The Position

We are seeking an experienced, full-time Quality Manager to lead and advance our quality and safety program! In this role, you will partner with leaders across the district to ensure our processes, practices, and patient outcomes reflect excellence in every way. You'll be at the heart of our mission-helping to create a culture of safety, reliability, and patient-centered care. The Quality Manager provides operational and strategic leadership to support Ocean Beach Hospital and Medical Clinics mission of delivering healthcare the community can trust. The Quality Manager works collaboratively with the management team, providers, nursing, pharmacy, and clinics to develop and implement a best-in-class hospital's quality and safety program. What You'll Do Coordinate and oversee hospital Quality Improvement Plan development, review, revision, and implementation. Coordinate and integrate QI plans and processes for individual departments. Ability to build and motivate teams with demonstrated leadership and facilitation skills. Teaches quality and patient safety concepts to employees. Coordinate the process of monitoring, measuring, and assessment of patient care and support of systems to achieve high quality, safe, cost-effective healthcare services. Reviews/analyzes Patient Engagement data and works with Managers to develop action plan to improve outcomes. Chairs the monthly Quality Committee and creates an executive summary for the Board of Commissioners. Collaborate and coordinate with departmental leaders on all patient safety issues. Facilitates, develops, and implements special projects as assigned by the CNO. Promotes a culture of safety, high-reliability, patient and staff engagement, and performance excellence. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, healthcare administration, or similar field with strong analytical skills
  • Current applicable licensure
  • At least 5 years' experience in quality management, project management, process improvement, and Lean methodology
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Epic, and software administration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
