Utilizing independent judgment, the Manager of Quality Assurance is responsible for maintaining the EQS quality system and external quality certifications (e.g. AS9100, ISO 9001, PED, etc.). Requirements

Bachelor’s of Science in a technical field
Minimum of 5 years’ QA/QC experience, preferably in the metals manufacturing industry.
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work with personnel at all levels of the organization
Good verbal and written communication skills
Active and valid driver's license.
Willingness and ability to travel, when necessary
Strong work ethic
Willingness to learn
Commitment to safety

Responsibilities

Maintains the EQS quality system and external quality certifications
Maintains the quality assurance manual.
Responsible for internal/external audits and corrective actions.
Responsible for reviewing and signing certified test reports.
Assists other departments with quality system development.
Manages the personnel in QA.
Management Representative with responsibility and authority for oversight of:
Ensuring the Quality Management System (QMS) conforms to all applicable requirements
Ensuring that processes deliver intended results
Reporting on the performance of the QMS to top management
Ensuring the promotion of customer focus
Ensuring the integrity of the QMS
Travel (local, national and international) as required.
Abides by all policies and procedures established by the Company including plant safety regulations and work rules.
Must have ability and desire to work with others.
Meets attendance requirements.
Performs other duties as deemed necessary.
