What impact you’ll make As a member of the GE Vernova Forrester Operations team, you will lead the development and execution of the quality processes for the Plant. This role includes coaching and mentoring members of the quality team, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and overseeing the quality management system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college/university plus seven (7) years of supervisory or technical experience in a manufacturing or technical field.
  • Of that experience, at least three (3) years of experience must be in a supervisory/managerial position.
  • Experience with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and specialists.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Utilize Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to identify and eliminate waste.
  • Implement effective Quality Management System
  • Manage quality budgets and allocate resources effectively.
  • Implement and lead process and quality improvement projects
  • Ensure employees receive the training, support and guidance needed to continuously increase their responsibilities, technical contributions and growth.
  • Activate the GE Vernova Way: Innovation, Customers, Lean, One Team, Accountable
  • Manage project timelines to meet customer needs with a strong focus on safety, process capability and qualifications.
  • Works with other functional leaders and internal staff to meet organizational requirements.
