As a Quality Manager you will be responsible for Implementing actions that are required in order to ensure effective handling of quality requirements in customer deliveries and in supply chain, continuous improvement inputs, implementation of the Management System and audit coordination in AS NA and SA operations, including capital, service, supply chain and sales. Main responsibilities: Delivery and customer quality Develop and control supply chain quality Coordination of external and internal audits Continuous improvement, lean and other quality support to personnel Management system and business process implementation support for NA and SA Tasks: Delivery and customer quality Quality support to delivery and sales organizations, working in close cooperation with Operations, Service and sales Support and facilitate project and other RCA’s Customer issue management support and follow-up Product issue support Develop and control supply chain quality Participate in ensuring good quality and efficient delivery capability in supply centers by inspections, nonconformity handling and other means Control supplier manufacturing quality via nonconformity and claim handling, supplier audits and supplier development actions Coordination of external audits (including customer audits) and perform and follow-up internal audits Continuous improvement, lean and other quality support to personnel CI contact – support with CI Event handling Root cause analysis facilitator Quality and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) reporting support Management system and business process implementation support Follow-up implementation of relevant business processes Key competencies: Knowledge of ISO 9001 standard Qualified Auditor Good knowledge of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methods Knowledge of continuous improvement and Lean methodology Knowledge of internal business processes, process development methods and understanding of business processes Knowledge of supplier quality and supplier claim management Good communication skills To be successful in this role you should have: 3-5 years’ experience in quality management and/or quality assurance A suitable master’s or bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and management, information management, automation engineering or similar, including some quality related courses Experience or formal training in quality, lean and root cause analysis Knowledge of project and service deliveries (power, pulp & paper, marine and/or process industry customer segments) Knowledge of supply chain processes Knowledge of one or more Automation Solutions products (preferably DCS – knowledge of other products such as pulp & paper quality management solutions is an advantage) Good verbal and written communication and training skills Fluent English skills Note: This position will require travel to the Owings Mills, MD location.
