Requirements

  • BS or MS in related field preferred, 3-5 years of experience in quality systems. Must be willing to travel 10-15%
  • Experience in quality systems implementation required with exposure to manufacturing, distribution and sales preferred Experience working with the Standards 9001/22000/17025/18001

Responsibilities

  • Deploy the required quality standards in each department of Nom Nom by leading the design, implementation, training and monitoring systems necessary to meet the applicable Nom Nom and third-party accreditation body requirements.
  • Lead the continuous improvement of the Nom Nom Quality Systems through standardization of current procedures, coordination with global stakeholders and ongoing training necessary to solidify the system with all associates.
  • Coordinate the communication and implementation of new Mars Standards to the Nom Nom Team, facilitate capability feedback to the Mars Global Standards team and represent the Sub-BU on standard development teams for future standards.
  • Train internal auditors to Mars Global and third-party accreditation body standards, organize the internal and LRQA audits for the region and market.
  • Serve on the North American Crisis Management Team and support local teams as needed for critical response action.
  • Support the quality system implementation of the distribution centers to meet QMS standard implementation.
  • To engage new teams in a quality management system to reach our QMS objective, this job requires highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, ability to directly interface with and influence Nom Nom GM, site director and regional leaders. As well to develop the interfaces between the different market units, local supply and regional teams working with projects groups and coordinating with the regional QFS teams.
  • It requires being oriented on quality management and continuous improvement, very open-minded and experienced to solve issues and find adapted solutions.
  • Ensure Quality and Food Safety by delivering safe and consistently high-quality nutritious products and/or services to our consumers by leading effective systems and processes.
