Requirements

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment required. Lab experience preferred.
  • Experience using basic tools and measuring devices (ruler, pi tape, scales, etc.).
  • Must pass the New Hire Base Assessment Test, which measures basic arithmetic and mechanical aptitude.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English to the extent necessary to effectively communicate and interpret instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize a variety of lab equipment to verify extruded film and finished goods meet functionality requirements.
  • Conduct analysis of product samples, compile data and interpret the results using computer software. Administration and maintenance of electronic database is necessary.
  • Perform quality audits on the production floor checking for print and specification defects.
  • Analyze all non-conforming material reports and complaints and work with applicable parties to assist in the resolution of these quality-related problems.
  • Work with production, engineering, customer service and technical support in solving problems directly related to quality assurance.
  • Comply with established facility safety policies and procedures and other regulations as applicable.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
