Our ketchup & BBQ sauce manufacturing plant is looking for a Quality Lab Technician who thrives on consistency, craves accuracy, and knows that great flavor starts with rock-solid quality. Strong attention to detail—you catch what others miss
Comfortable working independently on second shift
Basic lab math and computer skills
A mindset that says “good enough isn’t good enough”

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a food manufacturing or quality lab environment preferred

Responsibilities

Perform quality and food safety testing on raw materials, in-process product, and finished goods
Run lab analyses (pH, Brix, viscosity, titrations, sensory checks—yes, tasting may be involved )
Document results with accuracy and integrity—if it’s not written down, it didn’t happen
Identify out-of-spec results and communicate findings clearly to production and quality leadership
Maintain lab cleanliness, calibration, and compliance with food safety standards (GMPs, SQF, HACCP)
Be a quality ambassador on the floor—supporting production without slowing the line
