Do you want to contribute to making a better future? Where is the work: Standard Schedule – 5 days on site Job Summary: Trane Technologies is hiring a Quality Intern in Tyler, TX. In this role, you will work with the Quality team to develop solutions for the Tyler-based manufacturing operations. This will be a hands-on role where you will assist with key processes related to quality in a manufacturing environment. This will be a fast-paced assignment, with many diverse objectives. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with change, and will have a bias for driving objective/task completion.

Requirements

  • Junior level studies in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Ability to adapt and respond quickly
  • Ability to Manage time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently
  • Microsoft Office knowledge required
  • Motivated to learn new information and skills
  • U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

  • Resolution of manufacturing quality issues by utilization of structured problem- solving methodologies
  • Support of quality management system processes
  • Lead process improvement activities to improve cost of poor quality
  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures
