Do you want to contribute to making a better future? Where is the work: Standard Schedule – 5 days on site Job Summary: Trane Technologies is hiring a Quality Intern in Tyler, TX. In this role, you will work with the Quality team to develop solutions for the Tyler-based manufacturing operations. This will be a hands-on role where you will assist with key processes related to quality in a manufacturing environment. This will be a fast-paced assignment, with many diverse objectives. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with change, and will have a bias for driving objective/task completion.

Requirements

Junior level studies in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Ability to adapt and respond quickly
Ability to Manage time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently
Microsoft Office knowledge required
Motivated to learn new information and skills
U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

Resolution of manufacturing quality issues by utilization of structured problem- solving methodologies
Support of quality management system processes
Lead process improvement activities to improve cost of poor quality
Comply with all safety policies and procedures
