Job Responsibilities: Position Overview As a Quality Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience and contribute to various projects related to quality assurance and continuous improvement processes. This internship will provide a valuable learning experience in the field of quality engineering within the manufacturing industry.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Currently Attending a College or University, preferably pursuing a degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related field.
  • Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Professional Communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Knowledge of quality assurance principles and tools, such as gage r&r and FMEA.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in paperless forms development and statistical analysis.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Quality Engineering team on various projects, such as paperless forms implementation, gage r&r's (repeatability and reproducibility studies), and quality assurance and development initiatives.
  • Utilize your technical skills to design and develop paperless forms that streamline documentation processes and improve data accuracy.
  • Support the team in conducting gage r&r studies to assess the measurement system's reliability and ensure accurate data collection.
  • Assist in quality assurance activities, including audits and inspections, to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Work with the Quality Engineering team to develop prototype safe launch plans to ensure the successful launch of new programs and products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential risks and develop appropriate countermeasures to mitigate quality issues during the launch phase.
  • Assist in conducting failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) to identify potential failure modes and implement preventive actions at the prototype stage.
