Requirements

High school diploma
Two years of quality assurance and inspection experience
Two years of general blueprint interpretation experience
Two years of set-up and use of industry accepted (general) measuring equipment
Two years of familiarity with Geometric tolerances ASME Y14.5
Familiarity and understanding of geometric and dimensional tolerancing
Basic PC skills / Data Entry
Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

Inspects product to determine compliance to specified drawings involved in various machining processes such as Lathe, Milling, Drilling, Deep Hole, OD, ID Grinding, Thread Grinding and NDT
Perform inspections to demonstrate compliance to blueprints and work instructions including but not limited to: first article (FAI), Critical To Quality (CTQ’s), receiving, in-process, floor and final inspections.
Maintain gauge calibration system through the following activities: inspection of gages for due dates and condition; collection and distribution of gages for third party calibration; assure that out of calibration gages are never in use.
Maintain NCR system by generating and distributing detailed and legible NCR’s as required.
Complete required documentation to for traceability, compliance, shipping, etc.
Set-up and utilize precision measuring equipment, gages, CMM etc. to complete required inspector tasks.
Utilize Quality System procedures.
Perform Audits as assigned.
