Quality Inspector @ Charlotte, NC (1099 Contractor)
About The Position
Perform onsite, project-based quality inspections at factory locations. The inspector will conduct inspections in accordance with AQL standards, perform detailed visual evaluations of products, and verify key measurements against approved specifications and tolerances. The ideal candidate will have 2–3+ years of inspection experience, demonstrate the ability to work independently in production environments, and maintain reliable transportation to assigned sites. Inspectors must provide their own basic inspection tools and submit accurate electronic reports with supporting photographs in a timely manner. Provides timely, detailed reports and photographic evidence of product, packaging, labeling, defects noted, etc.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years conducting Pre-Shipment Inspections (PSI) on consumer goods
- Experience conducting pre-shipment inspections.
- Experienced working with suppliers, and manufacturing facilities.
- Experience inspecting textile products in accordance with client specifications and AQL standards
- Documents findings with photos and detailed inspection reports
- Reliable transportation to travel to factory locations.
