About The Position

Ensure that we provide a quality product to our customers through diligent and
effective inspections of products and materials.

Requirements

• Typically requires 2(+) years of experience in electronic and mechanical inspection.
• Experience with mechanical inspection tools.
• Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Strong knowledge of J-STD-001 and/or IPC 610 Class 3.
• Experience working in an ISO-9001 and/or AS9100 Quality System environment.
• Able to be interpreting electronics drawing schematics.
• Ability to work under a microscope for long periods of time as required.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Traveling for training, support inspection at Cypress City location and supplier source inspection purposes may sometimes be required (within 75 miles).
• This position requires you to access information that is subject to U.S. export regulations. You may only access such information if you are a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. government.”

Nice To Haves

• J-STD-001 Class 3 and/or IPC 610 Certification preferred.
• AOI experience preferred.
• AS9102 (First Article Inspection) experience preferred.
• Experience with mechanical inspection tools.
• Counter Measuring Machine (CMM) preferred.
• Experience with a Quality Application such as ORACLE, TIPQA, QCBD, etc. preferred.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint, ORACLE, E-WIP, AGILE, ADP, ERP System preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supporting incoming, in-process and final inspection (Torrance and Cypress).
• Reviewing supporting data and documentation and generating inspection records.
• Enforcing FOE/FOD, ESD and Calibration protocols.
• Generating non-conforming material records in our Quality Applications and ERP System.
• Performing a variety of Quality Assurance related tasks in support of engineering and operation.
