About The Position

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Perform inspections on components, purchased parts, and/or finished products as required Prepare inspection reports and maintain files of inspection documents Review inspection records received for compliance Maintain inspection and measuring equipment Prepare and coordinate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR’s) for non-conforming parts Maintain NOV guidelines on safety, quality, and delivery Clean work areas as necessary to maintain cleanliness, health, and safety standards FACILITY/GROUP -SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES/EXPECTATIONS Supports and contributes to facility goals Provide feedback on process improvements, cost savings, and opportunities for efficiency and safety Remain open to feedback and collaboration with other departments Ontime attendance and timeliness Must be able to pass a background check and drug/physical test EDUCATIONAL & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or equivalent 1+ yrs. Knowledge of standard measurement equipment and inspection processes such as Micrometers and Calipers. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ yrs. Knowledge of standard measurement equipment and inspection processes such as Micrometers and Calipers.
  • Demonstrable experience reading and understanding engineering prints
  • Demonstrable experience of computer literacy and use of Microsoft Office programs

Nice To Haves

  • Three or more years of related experience and/or training preferred
