About The Position
The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting aerospace machined products to ensure compliance with customer requirements, engineering specifications, and quality standards. This Quality Inspector role works closely with operations and manufacturing teams to verify product accuracy and maintain high-quality output. The ideal Quality Inspector has experience with precision inspection tools, strong attention to detail, and the ability to ensure products meet strict aerospace quality standards.
Requirements
- Experience performing quality inspections in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to work effectively with operations and production teams
Responsibilities
- Inspect finished aerospace machined products to verify compliance with specifications
- Collaborate with the Operations team to maintain product quality standards
- Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and other inspection equipment
- Perform and support First Article Inspections (FAI) and required documentation
- Accurately record inspection results and maintain quality documentation
- Assist with additional quality control and inspection duties as assigned
