About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and quality-driven individual to perform visual and functional inspections in a manufacturing environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to ensuring products meet quality standards from the customer’s perspective.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience (manufacturing preferred)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

Experience with quality inspection processes and basic measuring tools preferred

Responsibilities

Perform in-process (online) inspections to ensure product quality
Conduct inspections for function, fit, and finish of products
Identify and document defects accurately
Ensure correct products are inspected based on build schedules or order paperwork
Support offline auditing, product evaluations, and sorting when assigned
Communicate quality concerns clearly to production and quality teams
Escalate recurring issues (3–5 of the same defect) to leadership
Complete daily defect tracking and reporting documentation
Verify functionality of inspection equipment, fixtures, and templates
Perform minor repairs or corrections to reduce production downtime
Maintain safe work practices and proper material handling
Follow PPE requirements and support 5S initiatives
Review operation standards and provide feedback for improvement
Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions when needed
Provide guidance to team members on quality standards and procedures
Use basic measuring tools such as torque wrenches, rulers, and gauges
Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen)
