WHAT YOU’LL DO: Inspecting: Visually, manually, and digitally examining products and raw materials to ensure they meet Anduril standards as described by engineering both internal and external, as well as quality management system (QMS) requirements. Measuring: Using calipers, gauges, micrometers, and/or metrology to measure product dimensions to verify they match the design. Testing: Running tests to identify defects and using machines to test products via Tap testing, manual testing, and NDT/NDI methods. Comparing: Comparing products to 3D CAD model and specifications to ensure they meet designed tolerance. Recording: Reporting inspection and test procedures and their resultant data or results uch as weights, temperatures, and quantities inspected Process Improvements: Recommending changes to the assembly or production process based on findings from inspections/tests. Rejecting: Removing/Red tagging products and materials that don't meet specifications until the issue is resolved. Communicating: Communicating product quality standards to Technicians, leads, and managers, and communicating feedback on inspection method effectiveness to engineers.
